Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
When the work Senza titolo by Bepi Romagnoni was auctioned at Il Ponte in June 2014, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 380.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at EUR 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bepi Romagnoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vestizione E Partenzasigned And Dated 64; Signed, Inscribed Vestizione And Dated Aprile 1964 On The Reverse, Photomontage In Photosensitive Paper And Oil On Canvas in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Senza titolo von Bepi Romagnoni im Juni 2014 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 380,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 1.600,00 mehr als viermal so hoch. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bepi Romagnoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vestizione E Partenzasigned And Dated 64; Signed, Inscribed Vestizione And Dated Aprile 1964 On The Reverse, Photomontage In Photosensitive Paper And Oil On Canvas im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
