In January 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Home from the fields by Benno Adam. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,688.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benno Adam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Stag Hunt In A Coastal Landscape in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 22,800.00 (€ 33,280.57).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Home from the fields von Benno Adam zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.688,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benno Adam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Stag Hunt In A Coastal Landscape im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.800,00 (€ 33.280,57).
