Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Family in the workshop by Bengt Nordenberg was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,207.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bengt Nordenberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Nattvardsgång i svensk lantkyrka" in December last year with an auction result of SEK 180,000.00 (€ 16,135.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Family in the workshop von Bengt Nordenberg wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.207,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bengt Nordenberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Nattvardsgång i svensk lantkyrka" im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 180.000,00 (€ 16.135,73).
