Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work Two figures by Bengt Lindström. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 85,000.00 (€ 7,465.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bengt Lindström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Roi De Coeur, 1964 in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 62,498.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two figures von Bengt Lindström zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 85.000,00 (€ 7.465,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bengt Lindström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Roi De Coeur, 1964 im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 62.498,00.
