A top price for Ben Wright
In December last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work Buffalo Grandfather from the Lakota Myth Series 62 x 42 in. unframed by Ben Wright. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,310.99), 17% above the upper estimate. With this result, Buffalo Grandfather from the Lakota Myth Series 62 x 42 in. unframed is even the most expensive work of art by Ben Wright that we have observed at auctions so far.
