Upper estimate price exceeded by 47 %.
The work Signature by Ben Vautier was sold in the Collection Loïc Malle: Only Time Will Tell auction at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 17,640.00 47% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ben Vautier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait De Duchamp in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 105,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Signature von Ben Vautier wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Collection Loïc Malle: Only Time Will Tell bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 17.640,00 und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ben Vautier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait De Duchamp im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 105.900,00.
