A top price for Ben Sunlight - as previously expected
The work Summer by Ben Sunlight was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,274.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Summer is the most expensive artwork by Ben Sunlight that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.274,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Summer das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ben Sunlight, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
