Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,680.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Belmore Browne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quaking Aspens 30 x 40 in. framed 38 x 48 in., which sold at auction in November last year for USD 33,135.00 (€ 32,098.23).
