Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Koktebel From The Series Summer 79 by Bela Levikova for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,167.31). This price was achieved in the auction Russian at Sothebys in Olympia and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bela Levikova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avtoportret-87 (No Kassa Moguchee Prirody) [Self-Portrait-87 (But The Till Is More Powerful Than Nature), Diptych|AID115814], which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,342.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Koktebel From The Series Summer 79 von Bela Levikova für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.167,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian bei Sothebys in Olympia erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bela Levikova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avtoportret-87 (No Kassa Moguchee Prirody) [Self-Portrait-87 (But The Till Is More Powerful Than Nature), Diptych|AID115814] beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.342,18) versteigert wurde.
