Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tomb of a Bishop (After Parmigianino) (Bartsch XXXII.287.13) by Battista Angolo Del Moro was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 504.00 (€ 563.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Battista Angolo Del Moro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St. Roch in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 12,600.00 (€ 10,383.19).
