A top price for Battista Angolo Del Moro - as previously expected
In January 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work St. Roch by Battista Angolo Del Moro. The price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 10,383.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, St. Roch is the most expensive artwork by Battista Angolo Del Moro that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Januar 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit St. Roch von Battista Angolo Del Moro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 10.383,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist St. Roch das teuerste Kunstwerk von Battista Angolo Del Moro, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
