Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Oriental, which included the work English, Irish and Scottish setters on the hill by Basil Bradley. The price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,045.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Basil Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work On the scent in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,200.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours and Oriental durch, in der auch die Arbeit English, Irish and Scottish setters on the hill von Basil Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.045,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Basil Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit On the scent im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.200,78).
