Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Flowers In A Vase) by Bashir Mirza was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,960.00 (€ 10,427.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bashir Mirza have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lonely Girl in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 65,250.00 (€ 77,303.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Flowers In A Vase) von Bashir Mirza kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.960,00 (€ 10.427,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bashir Mirza auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lonely Girl im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.250,00 (€ 77.303,63).
