Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Australian Sun Series) by Bashir Mirza was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2019. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,241.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bashir Mirza have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lonely Girl in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 65,250.00 (€ 77,303.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Australian Sun Series) von Bashir Mirza kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.241,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bashir Mirza auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lonely Girl im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.250,00 (€ 77.303,63).
