Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Australian Sun Series) by Bashir Mirza was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2019. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,576.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bashir Mirza have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lonely Girl in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 65,250.00 (€ 77,303.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Australian Sun Series) von Bashir Mirza wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.576,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
