The work La Lettura by Bartolomeo Giuliano was sold in the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction at Sothebys in Milan in June 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 11,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41 %. Admittedly, works by Bartolomeo Giuliano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Post Prandium, 1898 in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 68,200.00.

Die Arbeit La Lettura von Bartolomeo Giuliano wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 11.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bartolomeo Giuliano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Post Prandium, 1898 im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.200,00.
