Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Charity Of St. Nicholas by Bartolo di Fredi was sold in the Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2007. The price achieved of USD 192,000.00 (€ 147,715.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 180,000.00 – 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bartolo di Fredi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saint Anthony Abbot, which sold at auction in April 2015 for GBP 287,000.00 (€ 394,117.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Charity Of St. Nicholas von Bartolo di Fredi wurde im Januar 2007 in der Auktion Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 192.000,00 (€ 147.715,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 180.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bartolo di Fredi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Saint Anthony Abbot beobachtet, die im April 2015 für GBP 287.000,00 (€ 394.117,18) versteigert wurde.
