Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A capriccio view of the Stevenskerk, Nijmegen by Bartholomeus Johannes van Hove was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2016. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bartholomeus Johannes van Hove have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ferry Crossing in Haarlem in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 52,184.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A capriccio view of the Stevenskerk, Nijmegen von Bartholomeus Johannes van Hove kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bartholomeus Johannes van Hove auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ferry Crossing in Haarlem im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 52.184,57).
