However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bartholomeus Assteyn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Früchtestilleben in einer Porzellanschale auf einem Tisch und Insekten. 1641., which sold at auction in April 2011 for CHF 120,000.00 (€ 93,426.89).
