Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The White Darkness, 2003 by Barthélémy Toguo was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,936.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Barthélémy Toguo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work What'S Your Name, 2003 in December 2021 with an auction result of MAD 260,000.00 (€ 24,580.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The White Darkness, 2003 von Barthélémy Toguo kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.936,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Barthélémy Toguo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit What'S Your Name, 2003 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von MAD 260.000,00 (€ 24.580,31).
