This artwork by Barthélemy Menn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Koller in June 2018. In the Schweizer Kunst auction, the work Am Waldrand. sold for CHF 9,375.00 (€ 8,091.23) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barthélemy Menn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un Vallon. 1850–60., which sold at auction in July 2020 for CHF 25,920.00 (€ 24,156.63).

In der Auktion Schweizer Kunst wurde die Arbeit Am Waldrand. für CHF 9.375,00 (€ 8.091,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Barthélemy Menn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Un Vallon. 1850–60. beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für CHF 25.920,00 (€ 24.156,63) versteigert wurde.
