Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Emperor Charles V by Barthel Beham for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,330.11). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Prints at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barthel Beham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Ludwig X, Duke Of Bavaria in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 317,000.00 (€ 376,664.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Emperor Charles V von Barthel Beham für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.330,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Barthel Beham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Ludwig X, Duke Of Bavaria im Juli 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 317.000,00 (€ 376.664,58).
