Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Calligraphy／Bamboo and Rock by Bao Jun. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 10,625.00 (€ 1,220.39). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bao Jun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,145.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy／Bamboo and Rock von Bao Jun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 10.625,00 (€ 1.220,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bao Jun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.145,90).
