In August 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work The Little Goat Herder by Baldomero Galofre y Giménez. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,151.00 (€ 3,183.51), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Baldomero Galofre y Giménez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishing Boats on the Shore in February 2003 with an auction result of USD 35,850.00 (€ 33,259.11).

Im August 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Little Goat Herder von Baldomero Galofre y Giménez zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.151,00 (€ 3.183,51) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Baldomero Galofre y Giménez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishing Boats on the Shore im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.850,00 (€ 33.259,11).
