In the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work The Scream sold for USD 137,500.00 (€ 115,896.83) - well above the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bahram Hajou; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Selbstbildnis [Self-Portrait|AID835192] sold at auction in July last year with the realized price of USD 151,200.00 (€ 148,206.23).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Bahram Hajou; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Selbstbildnis [Self-Portrait|AID835192] im Juli letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 148.206,23).
