Auction result well in line with expectations
In January this year Bonhams held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online, which included this untitled work by Bahaa Amer. The price achieved of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,235.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Bahaa Amer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2021 the work Ishtar IIX was auctioned for GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,986.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bahaa Amer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.235,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Bahaa Amer konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2021 die Arbeit Ishtar IIX für GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.986,78) versteigert.
