A top price for Bahaa Amer - as previously expected
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included the work Ishtar IIX by Bahaa Amer. The price achieved of GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,986.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ishtar IIX is the most expensive artwork by Bahaa Amer that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ishtar IIX von Bahaa Amer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.986,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ishtar IIX das teuerste Kunstwerk von Bahaa Amer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
