This artwork by Babs achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in May 2015. In the Urban Art benefiting to Emmaüs auction, the work Abstraction - 2015 sold for EUR 1,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 501.00. Admittedly, works by Babs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gravity, Babstrait Serie - 2014 in February 2015 with an auction result of EUR 4,160.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Babs erzielte im Mai 2015 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban Art benefiting to Emmaüs wurde die Arbeit Abstraction - 2015 für EUR 1.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 501,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Babs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gravity, Babstrait Serie - 2014 im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.160,00.
