The work Travelling, 2007 by Babou was sold in the Graffiti Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in February 2008. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,718.00 69% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Babou; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Welcome Popeye sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of EUR 6,300.00.

Die Arbeit Travelling, 2007 von Babou wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Graffiti Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.718,00 und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Babou; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Welcome Popeye im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.300,00.
