Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Street Art, which included the work Grande Palissade, 2006 by Babou. The price achieved of EUR 5,483.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Babou have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Welcome Popeye was auctioned for EUR 6,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Street Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grande Palissade, 2006 von Babou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.483,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Babou konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Welcome Popeye für EUR 6.300,00 versteigert.
