Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Untitled (Still Life) by B. Prabha. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,386.78). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by B. Prabha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 70,938.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Still Life) von B. Prabha zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.386,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von B. Prabha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 70.938,76).
