This artwork by B. Prabha achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Red Roses) sold for GBP 22,680.00 (€ 25,008.39) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by B. Prabha - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 90,000.00 (€ 70,938.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von B. Prabha erzielte im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Red Roses) für GBP 22.680,00 (€ 25.008,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von B. Prabha mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2006 für USD 90.000,00 (€ 70.938,76) versteigert wurde.
