This artwork by B. Prabha achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March last year. In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Fisherwomen) sold for USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,754.80) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00.
