Auction result well in line with expectations
The work No More Shallow Dreams, No More Wordly Intoxication by Aya Takano was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 73,526.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aya Takano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 428,902.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit No More Shallow Dreams, No More Wordly Intoxication von Aya Takano wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 73.526,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aya Takano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 428.902,17).
