Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Joined by My Precious Companions, I Offer these Flowers to You by Aya Takano was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 94,500.00 (€ 12,109.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aya Takano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 428,902.17).

Die Arbeit Joined by My Precious Companions, I Offer these Flowers to You von Aya Takano wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 94.500,00 (€ 12.109,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aya Takano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 428.902,17).
