Signed Axel Petersson and dated 1918. Also signed with rubber stamp Axel Petersson "Döderhultarn" Oskarshamn. Carved and partly painted wood. Height 30.5 cm.
Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Standing accordionist by Axel Petersson Döderhultarn was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year. The price achieved of SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,528.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Axel Petersson Döderhultarn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Lektor Victor Hjalmar Beronius" in December 2011 with an auction result of SEK 165,000.00 (€ 18,493.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Standing accordionist von Axel Petersson Döderhultarn wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.528,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Axel Petersson Döderhultarn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Lektor Victor Hjalmar Beronius" im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 165.000,00 (€ 18.493,02).
