Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art & Orientalist Art, which included the work Meal Time for the Chimeny Sweep by Aurelio Zingoni. The price achieved of USD 15,600.00 (€ 11,420.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Aurelio Zingoni have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Die Polenta-Mahlzeit. was auctioned for EUR 13,750.00.
