In the Dipinti e Sculture Del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Venezia, Porta della Carta changed hands for EUR 500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00. Other works by Aurelio Craffonara have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2013 by the work Paesaggio montano con baite e chiesetta at EUR 1,000.00.
