Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish toledo by Aureliano de Beruete was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in May 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 38,235.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aureliano de Beruete - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El Tajo, Toledo (The River Tajo, Toledo) , which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 66,050.00 (€ 79,859.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanish toledo von Aureliano de Beruete wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 38.235,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Aureliano de Beruete mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit El Tajo, Toledo (The River Tajo, Toledo) beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 66.050,00 (€ 79.859,41) versteigert wurde.
