Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Auke Sonnega achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2012. In the Nineteen to Now auction, the work Balinese women sold for EUR 37,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Auke Sonnega; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ceremony at the Temple sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 65,014.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Auke Sonnega erzielte im März 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now wurde die Arbeit Balinese women für EUR 37.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Auke Sonnega; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ceremony at the Temple im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 65.014,59).
