Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Balinese Woman by Auke Sonnega for HKD 8,750.00 (€ 936.82). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Online at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 15,000.00 – 26,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auke Sonnega achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ceremony at the Temple in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 65,014.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Balinese Woman von Auke Sonnega für HKD 8.750,00 (€ 936,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 26.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auke Sonnega erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ceremony at the Temple im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 65.014,59).
