Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a Balinese girl by Auke Sonnega was sold in the Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auke Sonnega achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ceremony at the Temple in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 65,014.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a Balinese girl von Auke Sonnega wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auke Sonnega erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ceremony at the Temple im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 65.014,59).
