A top price for Augusto Torres
In May 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Composición Universal-Razón by Augusto Torres. The »bidding war« ended at USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,622.96), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Composición Universal-Razón is even the most expensive work of art by Augusto Torres that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composición Universal-Razón von Augusto Torres zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.622,96) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Composición Universal-Razón sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Augusto Torres, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
