Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paesaggio Bellinzona by Augusto Sartori was auctioned at Christies in Geneva in June 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 7,200.00 (€ 4,600.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Augusto Sartori - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sogno, Um 1905-10, which sold at auction in June 2006 for CHF 24,000.00 (€ 15,334.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio Bellinzona von Augusto Sartori kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Genf zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 7.200,00 (€ 4.600,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Augusto Sartori mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sogno, Um 1905-10 beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für CHF 24.000,00 (€ 15.334,53) versteigert wurde.
