A top price for Augusto Daini - as previously expected
In December 2001 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Chiacchiere con il frate by Augusto Daini. The price achieved of ITL 3,675,000.00 (€ 3,303.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as ITL 3,500,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Chiacchiere con il frate is the most expensive artwork by Augusto Daini that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2001 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chiacchiere con il frate von Augusto Daini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von ITL 3.675.000,00 (€ 3.303,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit ITL 3.500.000,00 – 4.000.000,00 angegeben worden.
