Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Alan and Simone Hartman CollectionThe Inaugural Sale, which included the work Minotaure, version aux cornes courtes by Auguste Rodin. The price achieved of USD 216,400.00 (€ 195,624.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Rodin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Éternel Printemps in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 20,410,000.00 (€ 18,329,591.38).

Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Alan and Simone Hartman CollectionThe Inaugural Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Minotaure, version aux cornes courtes von Auguste Rodin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 216.400,00 (€ 195.624,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Rodin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Éternel Printemps im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.410.000,00 (€ 18.329.591,38).
