In February 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Masters Online, which included the work The Ruins Of Domitian'S Villa At Castel Gandolfo With The Chapel Of The Virgin Mary by Auguste Jean-Baptiste Vinchon. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,174.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Auguste Jean-Baptiste Vinchon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chevaux Effrayés, Détail De La Bataille De Constantin D'Après Raphael.  Auguste-Jean-Baptiste Vinchon ; Scared Horses, After Raffaello ; Oil On Canvas, which sold at auction in June 2011 for EUR 12,500.00.

Im Februar 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Masters Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Ruins Of Domitian'S Villa At Castel Gandolfo With The Chapel Of The Virgin Mary von Auguste Jean-Baptiste Vinchon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.174,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00.
