Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Fruit, Flowers and Figure by August Mosca. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,695.68). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by August Mosca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Under the Brooklyn Bridge in April this year with an auction result of USD 36,540.00 (€ 33,097.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fruit, Flowers and Figure von August Mosca zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.695,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von August Mosca erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Under the Brooklyn Bridge im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.540,00 (€ 33.097,83).
