A top price for August de Wilde - as previously expected
The work Merrymaking in a tavern by August de Wilde was sold in the 19th Century European Art including Orientalist Pictures auction at Christies in London in June 2003. The price achieved of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 11,819.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00.
