Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work A Still Life With Stoneware Jugs And A Feather On A Kitchen Chair by August Allebé for EUR 1,320.00. This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by August Allebé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch 'Het Kleine Sint-Jorisgilde Te Dongen' (The Saint Joris Guild In Dongen) in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 26,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Still Life With Stoneware Jugs And A Feather On A Kitchen Chair von August Allebé für EUR 1.320,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von August Allebé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch 'Het Kleine Sint-Jorisgilde Te Dongen' (The Saint Joris Guild In Dongen) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.650,00.
